A Note From Our PPOC President About Our Amazing Sponsors

As we enter into a new year I wanted to take a moment to thank our PPOC members for supporting our organization and our profession. We have great plans for PPOC in 2013. We have phenomenal speakers, safaris, and workshops! I encourage you all to bring fellow photographers to our meetings to see what we are all about. Our Open House and Awards Night on January 9th is a great opportunity to show someone what PPOC is all about. We have a guest speaker, free food and drinks, giveaways, and it is a great time to get to know our wonderful sponsors.

New 2013 PPOC Premium Membership

Up to now we have stayed consistently at $150 per year for an "Active Professional" members, $120 for "Aspiring and Student" membership and $100 for "Associate" memberships.

This year we are excited to add a Premium Membership (PM) as one of your options at $249. No, this does not mean that you are a Premium Professional Photographer compared to others (laughs), it just means that you would like to take care of some extra added benefits that Premium members can enjoy.

Hi All,

I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who were at our August meeting and participated in the raffle. A special thank you goes out to the winner who donated their winnings back to the family. We raised $145.00 to give to Jim and Diane Johnson. Now, it may not seem like much to some of you, but to Jim and Diane, it was huge. Toby, our Treasurer, took the money over to their home, which is a 30 yr. old mobile home and gave it to Diane’s mother. Diane was at the hospital having surgery for her cancer. Her husband, Jim, is at a different facility receiving therapy for his stroke. They lost their home and their studio. Diane’s mom was in tears when Toby presented her with the money, and when Diane called to thank Toby, she was overwhelmed with the kindness from PPOC.
